Interestingly, the letter dated on June 18th was in the hands of the NAB and on their website the same day (they must know someone).

My guess is most of the congressional signatures are those who have received funding from the NAB. How would these men & women even know about the technology unless someone (the NAB) told them. This is pandering at its finest. I liked the guy who started the “shut off that #@$%! radio !! ” campaign.
Since 72 members of Congress to signed the letter opposing the merger, does that mean that mean 463 member are for the merger? 😉
I am wondering why Mr. Karmazin isn’t down at the capitol building with his own letter to sign myself.
